A polyester foam-backing is glued between the material and fibreglass board in the ceiling of your vehicle. After an extended period of time and exposure to heat and humidity, this backing begins to break down and delaminate from the material, resulting in your roof liner ‘sagging’. Once this happens, the existing material cannot be re-glued back to the board.
We advise using thumb tacks to pin the material up until it is restored, this will ensure the finish of the repair isn’t compromised and the roof liner doesn’t obstruct your vision.
